Unter anderem konstatiert Burrell einen zunehmenden Individualismus in der Forschung und die Verdr\u00e4ngung des Selbstverst\u00e4ndnisses einer &#8222;community of scholars&#8220;. Nicht zuletzt steht dies aus Sicht Burrells mit dem herrschenden Publikationsbetrieb im Zusammenhang.
