In der aktuellen Ausgabe der Zeit (Nr. 38 vom 11.August 2011) findet sich ein instruktives Interview mit dem Kulturwissenschaftler Joseph Vogl zur historischen Genese und aktuellen Verfasstheit des Finanzmarktkapitalismus<\/strong>. Es ist auch deshalb lesenswert, da die Interviewende aus dem Wirtschaftsressort stammt und Vogl somit die Gelegenheit erh\u00e4lt, auf einige neoliberale Wahrheitsspiele (kriseninduzierte Produktivit\u00e4ts- und Effizienzsteigerung, Alternativlosigkeit von M\u00e4rkten, Staaten als Quasi-Unternehmer) kritisch einzugehen. Im impliziten Anschluss an die Foucaultschen Analysen zur neoliberalen Gouvernementalit\u00e4t f\u00fchrt Vogl u.a. aus:<\/p>\n

„Der sogenannte Liberalismus ist ja nicht blo\u00df eine platte Rechtfertigung der Marktwirtschaft. Er unterstellt vielmehr, dass sich Gesellschaften durch Marktmechanismen besser und effizienter regieren lassen. Der Markt wird als eine Art Regierungstechnologie verstanden […]. Entscheidungen werden nicht von gew\u00e4hlten Regierungen, sondern von M\u00e4rkten und ihren Mitspielern diktiert. Als die US-Bonit\u00e4t am Freitag letzter Woche herabgestuft wurde, sagten Vertreter von Standard & Poor’s recht unverbl\u00fcmt: Die USA sollten schnell die \u00fcberfl\u00fcssigen Sozialprogramme abbauen. So spricht das Orakel, die perfide Unschuld des Marktes.“<\/em><\/p>\n
